Leading software company, developing a range of solutions covering the whole enterprise and delivering right, first-time solutions which solve customer problems, save money and deliver significant impact to users’ lives.
Are now seeking a Senior Leader to join the Sales operation, driving continued growth as they develop their cloud-first product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. With overall accountability for sales, you will balance our ambition to build a world-class Sales organisation centred around the development of our people, processes and toolkit with the need to deliver to challenging shorter-term revenue numbers.
What you will be doing
As a key part of our leadership team and a key change-agent for our sales organisation, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating, articulating and leading our growth agenda across the sales function, with a particular focus on the execution of the sales strategy behind our true SaaS cloud software offerings.
- Articulating and engaging our people to a best practice approach, driving continued improvements around process, people development, systems and behaviours across our organisation
- Leading the governance of our sales process, evangelising the process and systems, and supporting the right behaviours through appropriate reward and recognition strategies
- With a focus on net new customer acquisition, setting the strategy for our New Business teams, and ensuring they are equipped with the correct tools, skills, knowledge and process to deliver against challenging new business targets
- Driving improved connectivity between Sales, Marketing and Product throughout the go-to-market process, and ensuring the Sales organisation is appropriately tooled and ready to take new products and functionality to market effectively
- The delivery of challenging revenue and sales bookings numbers across our Private and Public sector markets. Ensuring the delivery of accurate forecasts and supporting Sales Directors with the management of new business pipelines
- Developing and supporting the evolution of a coaching culture across the Sales function, working with peers from other parts of the business to create effective people development and management strategies
Suitable candidates will bring a variety of sales and leadership skills, particularly in relation to:
- Articulating best practice, and driving the implementation of relevant programmes, systems and tools to bring it to life across the organisation
- Defining sales strategy, and supporting its execution across a diverse range of customers groups and markets
